Two-Factor authentication provides an additional layer of security to your account. When enabled you will be asked for a 6-digit code in addition to your email and password.
You will require an authentication app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 1Password to set up Two Factor Authentication.
How do I enable Two Factor Authentication?
On the website
- Login to your OrbitRemit account at https://secure.orbitremit.com.
- Select “settings” from the list of options when you click on your initials in the top right corner.
- Select the option ‘Two Factor Authentication’.
- Using your authenticator app, scan the OR code or enter the code manually.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click enable.
On the app
- Login to your account.
- Tap on the settings icon.
- Under the security heading tap on 'Two-Factor Authentication'.
- Using your authenticator app, scan the QR code or enter the code manually.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app and click enable.
You can confirm that Two Factor Authentication is enabled by going to your settings and checking that the enabled label is showing next to the Two Factor Authentication setting.
Next time you login on the web version of OrbitRemit, you will be prompted to enter your 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

- Enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click disable.
On the app
- Login to your account.
- Tap on the settings icon.
- Under the security heading, confirm that the 'enabled' label is showing next to 'Two-Factor Authentication'.
- Tap on 'Two-Factor Authentication' heading.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click 'Disable 2FA'.
