OrbitRemit is able to process transfers to foreign currency accounts (USD) in Sri Lanka.
This transfer option can be utilised on our website, but is not currently available on the app.
To make a transfer to a foreign currency account in Sri Lanka, log in on the website then navigate to Recipients > Add Recipient > USD (Outside of USA) > Create new recipient details.
Alternatively, you can add the recipient's details when they book a transfer to USD (Outside of USA). The details required are:
- Full name of account holder
- Bank Name
- Bank Branch
- Account Number
- Recipient’s address
