The calculator is the first screen you'll see when you log in to OrbitRemit. It lets you check live exchange rates, fees, and the exact amount your recipient will receive before you commit to anything.
How to use the calculator
1. Select your currencies
- Choose the currency you are sending and the currency your recipient will receive
- Use the drop-down menu to switch between available currency options
2. Enter an amount
You can enter either:
- The amount you want to send, or
- The amount you want your recipient to receive
3. Select a funding method
Select how you would like to make payment for your transfer. Some options may not be available based on your send amount or for your first transfer.
4. Select a recipient type
Select how your recipient will receive payment. If only one option is available for your recipient currency, this will be selected by default.
The calculator will instantly update to show the exchange rate, fees, and total amount.
Your send and receive currencies are saved automatically, so you won't need to reselect them every time you create a transfer.
What's next?
Once you've selected the currency pair amount, funding method and recipient type, click Make Transfer to continue.
If this is your first transfer, you'll be asked to complete your profile before proceeding.
