No. OrbitRemit can only accept payments from the registered account holder. If you are paying by bank transfer, the name on the bank account you send from must match the name on your OrbitRemit account.
What if someone has already paid on my behalf?
There are two options:
Option 1 — The person who paid creates their own account They can sign up for their own OrbitRemit account and create a new transfer that matches the payment they've already sent.
Option 2 — Request a refund OrbitRemit can refund the payment back to the original bank account it was sent from. To process a refund, we will need a proof of payment from the person who made the payment.
