Some banks apply a daily or per-payment limit to the amount you can send via internet banking. If your limit is lower than your transfer amount, there are a few ways to handle this.
Option 1 — Request your bank to raise or remove the limit
Contact your bank directly and ask them to increase or remove your internet banking payment limit. This is the simplest solution if your bank allows it.
OrbitRemit has no visibility over these limits and cannot advise on specific amounts, as limits vary between banks and individual accounts.
Option 2 — Split your payment across multiple transfers
If your limit cannot be raised, you can split your payment into multiple smaller payments. If you plan to do this, please let us know in advance by opening a support ticket so we can keep your transfer open until all payments are received.
Important: You must include your provided reference with every payment so each one can be matched to your transfer. If any payment is sent without the correct reference, your transfer may be adjusted or delayed.
Forgot to include your reference on a split payment?
Open a support ticket and let us know as soon as possible so we can hold your transfer and locate the payment.
