Verifying your business account (Australia)

To verify your OrbitRemit business account in Australia, you'll need to provide documentation based on your business structure. Find your business type below to see what's required.

Registered company (Pty Ltd)

  • An ASIC company extract that outlines the share structure of your business
  • A company bank statement displaying the company name and demonstrating cash flow
  • Photo identification for all directors and beneficial owners (a beneficial owner is anyone who holds 25% or more of the company's shares)
  • A brief description of your business activities and the intended purpose of your transfers
  • Your business website address (if you have one)

If 25% or more of your company's shares are owned by another company, we will also need to complete business verification for that company.

If your shares are partially or fully held by a trust, we are currently unable to process transfers on behalf of your company.

Sole trader

  • A copy of your most recent self-assessment tax return confirming you are self-employed
  • A business bank statement showing your trading name
  • Confirmation of your ABN
  • Your business website address (if you have one)
  • A few sentences describing your business activities and the nature of your transfers and your relationship with your recipient

Not registering as a business?

If you are registering as an individual rather than a business, you will need to meet the personal verification requirements instead.
