Before your transfer is finalised, you'll be shown a summary screen where you can check all of your transfer details, add an optional reference for your recipient, and redeem a free transfer if one is available on your account.
On web
- Review all transfer details on the summary screen — including the amount, exchange rate, fees, and recipient details.
- Under Rewards, if you have a free transfer available, select the "You have free transfer(s) available" box to redeem it.
- Review the Payment Summary — this shows your send amount, transfer fee, exchange rate, and total payment amount.
- If you'd like to include a message or reference for your recipient, enter it in the reference field.
- Once you're happy with everything, click Confirm Transfer to proceed to payment.
On mobile
- Review all transfer details on the summary screen — including the amount, exchange rate, fees, and recipient details.

What should I put in the reference field?
The reference is optional but can be helpful for your recipient. For example:
- If you are paying a bill or invoice, enter the invoice number
- If you are sending money to a friend or family member, you can include a short personal message
Note: Please be advised that not all reference information entered in the reference field will appear on the recipient’s bank statement. While we transmit the full reference details from our system, the receiving bank determines what information is displayed based on its own system capabilities, character limits, and formatting rules.
As a result, some references may be shortened, modified, or omitted entirely by the recipient’s bank. Because this is controlled externally, we are unable to guarantee how the reference will appear once received.
Always double-check your recipient's details on this screen before confirming. Once a transfer is created, it cannot be cancelled directly through your account.
