PayID deposits via Westpac

You can fund your OrbitRemit transfer instantly using PayID through your Westpac account. Before you begin, have your OrbitRemit PayID details ready — you'll need the PayID email address and the Description/Reference shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.


Via the Westpac mobile app

  1. From the home screen, tap the $ icon.
  2. Tap Pay Someone.
  3. Tap Add in the top corner.
  4. Tap Other PayID, then select Email PayID.
  5. Enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page and tap Next.
  6. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
  7. Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field.
  8. Leave the Reference (optional) field blank.
  9. Review your payment details and tap Confirm to complete your deposit.

Via Westpac internet banking

  1. Log in to your internet banking account and select Make a Payment.
  2. Select Pay new payee.
  3. Select Email and enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
  4. Click Verify, then confirm the payee details and set a payee nickname.
  5. Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field.
  6. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and click Continue.
  7. Review your payment details on the confirmation screen and click Confirm to complete your deposit.

First-time or large deposits: If this is your first PayID deposit or you are depositing a large amount, Westpac may hold your payment for up to 24 hours before it clears. This is a standard bank security measure and is not something OrbitRemit can override.
