PayID deposits via Bank of Melbourne

You can fund your OrbitRemit transfer instantly using PayID through your Bank of Melbourne account. Before you begin, have your OrbitRemit PayID details ready — you'll need the PayID email address and the Description/Reference shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.


Via the Bank of Melbourne mobile app

  1. Open the Bank of Melbourne mobile app and tap Transfer & Pay.
  2. Tap PayID.
  3. Select Email and enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
  4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
  5. Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field only.
  6. Leave the Reference (optional) field blank.
  7. Tap Continue to complete your deposit.

Via Bank of Melbourne internet banking

  1. Log in to your internet banking account and select Transfers, payments & Bpay.
  2. Select Pay to PayID.
  3. Select Add a new PayID, then choose Email.
  4. Enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
  5. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
  6. Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field only.
  7. Leave the Reference (optional) field blank.
  8. Click Continue to complete your deposit.

First-time or large deposits: If this is your first PayID deposit or you are depositing a large amount, Bank of Melbourne may hold your payment for up to 24 hours before it clears. This is a standard bank security measure and is not something OrbitRemit can override.
