You can fund your OrbitRemit transfer instantly using PayID through your Bank of Melbourne account. Before you begin, have your OrbitRemit PayID details ready — you'll need the PayID email address and the Description/Reference shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
Via the Bank of Melbourne mobile app
- Open the Bank of Melbourne mobile app and tap Transfer & Pay.
- Tap PayID.
- Select Email and enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
- Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field only.
- Leave the Reference (optional) field blank.
- Tap Continue to complete your deposit.
Via Bank of Melbourne internet banking
- Log in to your internet banking account and select Transfers, payments & Bpay.
- Select Pay to PayID.
- Select Add a new PayID, then choose Email.
- Enter the PayID email address shown on your OrbitRemit PayID details page.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
- Enter your Description/Reference in the Description field only.
- Leave the Reference (optional) field blank.
- Click Continue to complete your deposit.
First-time or large deposits: If this is your first PayID deposit or you are depositing a large amount, Bank of Melbourne may hold your payment for up to 24 hours before it clears. This is a standard bank security measure and is not something OrbitRemit can override.
