OrbitRemit has partnered with Vodafone M-PAiSA to offer fast, low-cost transfers to Fiji from Australia and New Zealand. All you need is your recipient's name and M-PAiSA phone number.
Steps to send to an M-PAiSA account
- Log in to your OrbitRemit account and select FJD as the receiving currency, then enter the amount you want to send.
- Click New Recipient and select Mobile Wallet.
- Select M-PAiSA.
- Enter your recipient's name and M-PAiSA phone number.
- Select the reason for your transfer.
- Pay to complete your transfer.
Does my recipient need to do anything?
Yes. Your recipient's M-PAiSA account must be activated before they can receive a transfer. If they haven't activated it yet, they can do so quickly through the M-PAiSA app or by calling Vodafone customer service.
Via the M-PAiSA app:
- Download the M-PAiSA app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Tap Don't have M-PAiSA? Sign Up Now.
- Enter their mobile number and tap Request.
- Enter the activation code received by SMS and tap Confirm.
- Create a 4-digit PIN and tap Verify PIN.
- Log in using their mobile number and PIN.
Via Vodafone customer service (from a Vodafone phone in Fiji):
- Dial *181#.
- Enter 2 and press Send to receive an activation code by SMS.
- Dial *181# again.
- Enter 1 and press Send.
- Enter the activation code received by SMS.
- Create a 4-digit PIN and re-enter it when prompted.
Wallet limits
As of September 2025, M-PAiSA customers are grouped into two tiers based on their KYC (Know Your Customer) verification status.

If your recipient's wallet is close to their limit, your transfer may not be processed. Ask your recipient to check their M-PAiSA balance and KYC status before you send.
