If you’re having difficulty adding a recipient in your OrbitRemit account, you’re not alone. This can happen for a few common reasons, and in most cases, it can be resolved quickly by checking a few details.

Common Reasons Why a Recipient Can’t Be Added

You may experience issues adding a recipient if:

  • An error message appears when saving the recipient details
  • The information entered doesn’t match the required format
  • Some mandatory fields are missing or incorrect
  • There’s a temporary issue with the app or website

Things to Check Before Trying Again

1. Review the Recipient Details Carefully

Make sure all required fields are completed and entered correctly, including:

  • The recipient’s full name (exactly as required)
  • Bank account number or payout details in the correct format
  • The correct recipient country and currency
  • Address or identification details, where required

Even small typos or formatting differences can prevent a recipient from being saved.


2. If You’re Using the OrbitRemit App

Try the following steps:

  • Ensure you’re using the latest version of the app
  • Close the app completely and reopen it
  • Restart your device and try again

3. If You’re Using the OrbitRemit Website

You can also try:

  • Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies
