Redeeming discounts

You can apply a discount while creating your transfer. Discounts must be selected before your transfer is submitted — they cannot be added afterwards.


How to apply a discount

  1. Start your transfer and select your recipient.
  2. On the About Your Transfer screen, choose the discount you want to redeem.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. The Total Amount to Pay will update automatically to show the reduced amount.
  5. Pay the discounted amount — OrbitRemit will still send the full receive amount to your recipient.

Why isn't my discount showing up?

If your discount is not visible or appears greyed out, the redemption conditions have likely not been met.

Check the following:

  1. Make sure you are sending in the correct currency for the discount.
  2. Confirm your transfer amount meets the minimum send amount required.
  3. To review the full conditions of your discount, go to Rewards on the home screen and select Coupons to view eligibility details.

Important things to know

Apply before creating your transfer Discounts cannot be added after a transfer has been created
Non-refundable if transfer is cancelled If you void a transfer, the discount will not be reinstated
Expiry dates are final Expired discounts cannot be extended, replaced, or applied to past transfers
One discount per transfer Multiple discounts cannot be combined or stacked on a single transfer
