After you have created a transfer in your OrbitRemit account, the next step is to pay for your transfer.
When you get to the 'Payment Method' screen, select 'Pay with Debit Card' to make a card payment. This will bring up the screen where you can enter your card details and complete your transfer.
For a seamless payment experience, you can add your debit card to the Wallet app on your mobile device and select 'Pay with Apple Pay' (iOS and web) or 'Pay with Google Pay' (Android and web).
- When paying for your transfer, please ensure you use a valid non-expired card issued by a financial institution (such as a bank) in Australia.
- Payment must be made from a card held in your name.
- We currently accept Visa and MasterCard.
- Paying with a debit card may not be available for large transfers. The maximum amount you can pay by card will be shown on the Payment Method screen.
- Debit card payments may be subject to additional fees (a surcharge). Card fees will be calculated and displayed on the Payment Method screen.
- Once we receive your payment, we will update the status of your transfer and send you an email to acknowledge receipt.
How do I request a refund?
If the status of your transfer is 'Processing Funds' or 'Awaiting Update' you can create a support ticket requesting a refund and we may be able to cancel and arrange a refund.
We do not have the ability to cancel your transfer once it has been completed.
Once a refund has been confirmed, it can take up to 7 working days to process by the card issuer.
