For new customers, your first transfer must be funded by bank transfer. This is required for KYC (Know Your Customer) and compliance purposes.
Once your first transfer has been successfully completed and verified, you'll have access to additional payment options including debit card, credit card, bank deposit, and PayID.
How to pay by bank transfer
- After setting up your transfer, go to the Payment Methods screen.
- Select Bank Transfer as your payment method.
- You'll see OrbitRemit's bank account details and your unique reference number.
- Log in to your internet banking or mobile banking app.
- Make a payment to OrbitRemit using the account details provided. Enter your reference code exactly as shown.
- Return to the OrbitRemit app and tap I Have Made Payment.
Always include your unique reference number with your payment. This is how we match your payment to your transfer. You can find your customer number by clicking on your initials in your profile.
Processing time
Bank transfers are usually processed within 1 working day, depending on your bank. You'll receive a notification once your payment has been received and your transfer is being processed.
Important things to note
- Payments must come from a bank account in your own name. If the account name doesn't match your OrbitRemit account, we may need to refund the payment to you. You cannot make payments on behalf of others.
- Always use the exact reference code provided in your OrbitRemit account to avoid delays.
- Pay exactly the amount shown on screen and in your transfer confirmation — no more, no less.
- Once we receive your payment, we will update your transfer status and send you a confirmation email.
