A status of Paid means OrbitRemit has completed the transfer and the funds have been sent to your recipient. This is the final status for a transfer.
Does 'Paid' mean the money is in my recipient's account right now?
Not necessarily. While we have completed our part of the process, the receiving bank may take additional time to clear and display the funds in your recipient's account. This is normal and depends on the receiving bank's processing times.
We recommend waiting for standard bank processing times to pass before checking with your recipient or contacting us.
What if my recipient still hasn't received the funds?
Check with your recipient directly first, as funds are sometimes received before they are visibly reflected in the account balance. If the funds have not arrived after a reasonable period, open a support ticket and our team will investigate.
