Before making your first transfer, you'll need to complete your OrbitRemit profile with some personal details.
Choose your account type
You can set up your profile as either:
- An individual — covered in this guide
- A business — see: Creating a business account
Complete the 'About You' section
Enter your full legal name exactly as it appears on your identity document. This helps OrbitRemit verify your account and process your transfers without delays.
Only have one name? Enter your name in both the first name and last name fields, then open a support ticket to let us know you only have one name.
Add your residential address
Enter your current home address. Please note:
- PO Box addresses are not accepted — you must use a valid residential address
- This is currently required for Australian customers
Save your profile
Once you've filled in all your details, select Save Profile to continue the transfer creation process.
