A proof of payment is a screenshot or image that shows a payment being made to OrbitRemit. We may request this as a security measure to verify that funds are being returned to the correct account, or to help us locate a payment we haven't been able to match to a transfer.
What must the proof of payment include?
Your proof of payment must clearly show all three of the following:
- Payment amount
- Sender's bank account name
- Sender's bank account number
Do not use a screenshot from your mobile banking app. Mobile banking screenshots generally do not display all three required details in a single image. We recommend logging in via internet banking on a desktop or laptop and taking a screenshot from there instead.
How to provide your proof of payment
If our team has contacted you requesting a proof of payment, please attach it directly to the support ticket we sent you. This ensures it reaches the right team and is actioned without delay.
