To send money from New Zealand, all customers must complete biometric verification as part of the transfer process. You will be guided through the steps automatically — just follow the prompts.

What you'll need
A device with a camera:
You can complete biometric verification on either:
- A computer with a working webcam (via the OrbitRemit web app), or
- A mobile phone with a working camera using the OrbitRemit Android or iOS app
A valid (unexpired) ID document
Accepted documents include:
- Passport (all countries)
- Driver's licence (from select issuing countries)
When you select your document's issuing country during the verification process, you'll see the full list of accepted ID types for that country.
Your identity document must be current and not expired. Expired documents will not be accepted. You must complete biometric verification before you can create your first transfer.
