How to send money to China

OrbitRemit offers fast, low-cost transfers to China via Alipay or direct bank transfer. Here's everything you need to know to get started.


Getting started

  1. Download the OrbitRemit app on iOS or Google Play, or visit orbitremit.com.
  2. Create your OrbitRemit account.
  3. Complete identity verification. See: How do I complete biometric verification?
  4. Enter the amount you want to send in AUD or NZD.
  5. Select how your recipient will receive the funds — via Alipay or bank account.
  6. Enter your recipient's details.
  7. Pay for your transfer and OrbitRemit will process and deliver it securely.

How will my recipient receive the money?

Alipay: Funds are delivered directly to your recipient's Alipay account.

Bank transfer: Funds are sent directly to a Chinese bank account. Your recipient's ID card number is required for this option.

Will my recipient receive the full amount?

Yes. Your recipient will receive the full converted amount with no deductions on the receiving side. OrbitRemit's fee and exchange rate are applied on your end before the transfer is sent.
