This status means we have encountered a problem in completing your transfer.
Usually this status is generated when the recipients account details you have supplied are invalid; most likely the account number is incorrect or the account name you entered differs from what is noted against the account you are attempting to transfer to.
We will contact you with the specific reason why your transfer has encountered a problem and the options you can take. Usually you can nominate another recipient to receive the funds or you may request a refund.
Once we have the details of the alternative recipient or a refund has been requested we will void the transfer that is in 'Awaiting Update' and create a new transfer for the nominated recipient or the refund request.
