You can update certain personal details in your OrbitRemit account at any time. Some changes require identity documents for verification.
How to access your profile settings
On web:
- Log in to your OrbitRemit account at orbitremit.com.
- Click the profile icon (showing your initials) in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Select Settings, then Profile.
- Update the details you need to change. Some fields can be edited directly; others require you to contact our support team.
On mobile:
- Open the OrbitRemit app and log in.
- Tap the Settings menu.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen to open your Profile page.

What profile details can be updated?
Name:
You can request a name change if your name has changed due to marriage, a legal name change, or a correction to an error.
- Email support@orbitremit.com with a photo or scan of your supporting legal document — for example, a marriage certificate or deed poll.
- If your identity hasn't been verified yet, you'll also need to include proof of identity (such as a passport or driver's licence).
Date of birth:
Once your identity has been verified, your date of birth is locked and cannot be changed. If you believe there is an error, please contact us and we'll review your case.
Address:
If you've moved house, you can request an address update.
- Email your new address details to support@orbitremit.com.
- In some cases, we may ask you to provide a document that confirms your new address — such as a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter dated within the last 90 days.

Phone number:
You can update your mobile number, but you'll need to verify the new number before the change takes effect. This is a security step to protect your account.
Email address:
